It was another fun open day at Bridgwater College’s Cannington Centre for Land Based Studies. Members of the public were invited to look around the facilities available at Cannington to see what courses were available and have an informal chat with the teachers. There were also plenty of hands on activities such as getting kitted up in harnesses (if you are that daring) as part of the arboriculture display. You could also make bird boxes, handle snakes, tortoises and rabbits or visit the horses at the equine centre. It was a great day out, I really enjoyed seeing all the different animals.
