It was another spectacular event at Halswell House last night. The House held a Nocturnal Wedding Fair complete with Christmas cheer, mulled wine, mince pies and fireworks. It was a lot of fun for me photographing the event and networking with exhibitors during the course of the evening. It was definitely a warm and inviting place to visit that night with it being minus 2 degrees outside!

There were lots of beautifully laid out stands with exhibitors displaying flower arrangements, balloons, photographic services and wedding cakes. All set in the elegant surroundings of the House complete with open log fires and the far reaching aroma of mulled wine.

Visitors were also treated to a Christmas cabaret act to help soften the heart of even the most ardent Christmas scrooge.

With mince pies, mulled wine, cabaret and open logs fires, harpist Susan Sherratt (01722 714 977) must have been the icing on the cake with the beautiful melodies she played through the evening.

I thought the ice sculptures on display were pretty impressive. Supplied by The Chocolate Fountain Ladies

Spectacular Fireworks finished off the evening.
