Lambing Sunday at Rodway Farm in Cannington

farming photography of young lady holding a lamb

Last Sunday Bridgwater College held it’s third annual Lambing Sunday day at Cannington’s Rodway Farm. The day was a great opportunity for members of the public to see (and feel) first hand what it is like on a farm.

Sunday was an exceptional day for it with unbroken sunshine. There was an awful lot to see, touch and enjoy. Throughout the day tractor trailer rides circled the farm, there were lambs to be handled and fed as well as plenty of pigs, piglets, calves, sheep and cows.

When visitors to the event felt they had worked up an appetite looking at all the animals, they could buy themselves lunch at the catering stand and finish it off with candy floss, or an ice cream. from Blackmore Farm’s stand

It was a very popular day with over 1500 people turning up and a very packed car park. Below are some of the highlights.
