Today i was photographing 1000 BMW cars go under the hammer at British Car Auctions in Bridgwater. The event started earlier today with 500 cars being auctioned on each of the two days. £1 from every car sale will be going towards the Movember foundation. The event celebrates the centre’s 100th sale on behalf of the BMW Group.
Personally I haven’t been to an auction before so it was a bit of an eye opener to see a stream of luxury cars being sold one by one, each taking no longer than a couple of minutes to sell. One BMW I saw went for £26,000 in a flash. Probably about as quick as its top speed!
