Wedding venues
Coombe Lodge
Coombe Lodge was a stunning venue for the wedding of Glen & Kerry which I photographed there. A grand venue with character, beautiful backgrounds everywhere and great views of the surrounding countryside. The bridal suite is especially lovely, a very large light and airy room with tasteful decor. A perfect wedding venue.
Oakhampton Park
“Oakhampton Park is not a hotel, it is a private country home, where you will be warmly welcomed for your own exclusive “home from home” to relax and entertain your friends, partners or colleagues
This Georgian family property dating from 1734, has been completely renovated and is approached by a curving drive through its own parkland and is situated with a southerly aspect enjoying far reaching views over the lake and surrounding glorious countryside. The rear of the house is enfolded by a beautiful traditional terraced walled garden with stabling to one side and a pool, gym and hot tub to the other.
The relaxing accommodation includes 2 elegant and charming drawing rooms with open fires, a dining room of character seating 20, snooker room & library, 2 TV rooms with full sky viewing ,6 comfortable double bedrooms with bathrooms each with their own unique character, boot & drying room and dogs, of course, are welcome.
The house is wireless broadband enabled so your laptop can work in your own room or in front of a log fire.”
Ash House Hotel
“Built approximately 300 years ago, this spacious and gracious building has been carefully restored over the last few years to provide elegant and comfortable accommodation. It offers modern facilities whilst maintaining the character of the Georgian family house it used to be. Ash House Hotel is unique amongst Yeovil hotels.”

Enjoy the sight and sound of the fine old waterwheel, which has been lovingly restored and turns effortlessly during daylight hours.

Shapwick House can be found about half a mile down a winding lane. A magnificent Tudor Manor House, surrounded by 30 acres of informal gardens and grounds, admist the rolling Somerset countryside. An idyllic setting for a private party or family reunion.
An amazing and private venue available for private hire by a large group of friends and family to gather together. Built by the Monks of Glastonbury in 1487, it still has grandeur and period features, including a large open Tudor fireplace and four poster beds.
