Wedding photographer in Bridgwater

Andrew & Alison’s wedding

Alison contacted me with a request for last minute wedding photography. She needed a wedding photographer in Bridgwater as her wedding ceremony was to be at St Edward’s Church in Chilton Polden just outside Bridgwater Town and the reception venue was at Greenway Farm in Bridgwater, near Cannington.

Alison and her soon to be husband Andrew booked me for 3 hours of wedding photography and said that they would like the option of an extra hour of wedding photography if the weather was good. They did indeed get a window of good weather so they went ahead with adding an extra hour of wedding photography, which meant I was an extra hour at Greenway Farm.

Late September weddings can be a bit hit and miss with the weather; it’s either really lovely or raining. With a window of good weather I started taking photos of Alison at her home. It was a swift visit just to get a few shots of the her getting ready, the flowers and a quick shot with her mum.

Next it was off to Chilton Polden just down the road, and after getting a lucky parking spot I went to see who had already arrived at St Edward’s Church. I knew there wouldn’t be a lot of people as the wedding of Andrew & Alison was quite an intimate one, hence booking me for a shorter time. There was a gathering of girls out the front and a few of the guys talking so I grabbed a few shots before Alison arrived in a classic old car.
