Addams Family Theatre Photography by Somerset Theatre Photographer Moment Photography

Looking for a theatre photographer in Somerset?

Being based in Bridgwater, I often asked to do theatre photography in local local towns such as Street, and Taunton. Strode Theatre, The McMillan Theatre, Taunton Brewouse Theatre and The Meyer Theatre at Millfield Senior School are all very close and I have worked at all of those locations.

I have covered hundreds of theatre events including drama photography, musicals photography, ballet and modern dance photography, comedy standup photography.

I photograph live shows where the audience is present as well as dress rehearsals depending on your need and the feasibility for photography during the event.

I am an expert at capturing fleeting moments when there is a lot happening on stage, and accurately capturing the stage lighting in my photos so you have high quality theatrical photography that helps promote your theatre and future upcoming events.

Why book me for your theatre photography?

I’ve photographed hundreds of theatre events (though most I can’t show here as they are school theatre events)
I have some clients that have repeately been using my services for over 10 years
I have a lot of positive feedback which you can read on my testimonials page
Your photos are usually ready in 24-48 hours

How will I photograph your theatre event?

Mostly I take photos during dress rehearsals, but even if I am taking photos during a live theatre performance, I am skilled at discreetly capturing what is happening on stage from just a few key angles.

How do we book you for theatre photography?

Booking is very simple. I charge by the hour and all you need to do is give me the time, date, location and a brief outline of what you need. I do get a lot of bookings in the evenings often months in advance, so it is recommended you don’t leave it too last minute to make sure I am available for your theatre event.

Live shows and performances

Whether the lighting is bright or dim, muted, colourful, or there are flashing lights, I capture the whole performance faithfully.

I’ll capture fast moving dancing, live music bands with animated singers, actors showing emotion on their faces as they act out touching dramas, or classical musical performances of pianists, strings and vocalists where you need multiple angles.

Dress rehearsals and BTS (Behind the scenes)

Both dress rehearsals and behind the scenes give more of an opportunity for creative photos as well as the unscripted in between shots the audience normally would not see. Add a little interest, authenticity and value to your theatre productions by allowing a wider viewpoint of the life of a thespian and the hard work involved putting on a theatre production by having my photos tell that story.
