Music photography for folk singer Ange Hardy published
On a number of occasions I have taken photographs for Ange Hardy, a local folk singer in Somerset. I mentioned this shoot back in March in a blog post. The indoor photo was taken at the National Trust Coleridge Cottage in Nether Stowey. As Coleridge Cottage is a historic museum open to the public, we didn’t have too long for the shoot, so I had to work fast. One challenge was to make sure nothing that was distinctly modern looking was in the photos, as Ange wanted the images to have an old feel to them. The outside shots in the woods were taken nearby on the Quantock Hills. We just drove up a narrow lane and pulled over and explored the woods for a suitable spot for photos (somewhere around here). Recently the photos were published in The Western Daily Press and on The Telegraph Newspaper website. I have done other photo shoots for Ange Hardy too. One of my favourite music photography shoots with Ange was at Watchet. We took some photos on the beach and the scale of the cliffs looked very dramatic in the background.
