Birthday party photography for Ryleigh, working with Make A Wish
Sometimes I am contacted by a company asking if I am willing to work on some sort of charitable project with them. I don’t accept all requests, but when I heard about Ryleigh who was sadly very unwell and had a 7th birthday coming up, I thought I would help out

The charity Make A Wish UK help people all across the country. Those less fortunate than ourselves, whether financially, through ill health, or a terrible event may have a wish they would love granted to make life just that little bit easier.

Ryleigh has sadly not been a fortunate young lady, but what if she could have the best 7th birthday party ever!! With the help of the Make A Wish charity Ryleigh’s family were able to hold a princess and superheros birthday party for Ryleigh.

Make A Wish contacted local suppliers that would be able to help with a birthday party, including myself of course.

Bridgwater & Albion Rugby Football Club provided the venue for the birthday party. Handy for me as I live very close by.
Seen below is James from J’s Kids Disco who did an incredible job of keeping the kids entertained. The kids had a really fun time with James’s games and silly expressions. It was all very interactive and engaging. He made me laugh too.

No birthday party would be complete without balloons and these were provided by Partycraft Balloons. They created a fantastic archway of party balloons.

If you are really lucky at your birthday party, you will have a face painter. Magic Minds Facepainting were there to paint beautiful designs on the kids faces. Nearly two decades of experience and it showed. The kids loved it of course and the facepainting was done super duper fast!

All that excitement and running about means kids get hungry (well they don’t need an excuse to get hungry actually!). The Purple Spoon Cafe provided much of the food and a beautiful cake was provided by Kym’s Cakes & Bakes.

There was even Freya the princess at Ryleigh’s birthday party from Princess & Fairy Parties. Freya entertained the kids and decorated their hands.

So with all the generous help of local Bridgwater businesses, all that was then needed was photographs of Ryleigh’s birthday party, all the pretty decorations, Ryleigh having the best time and her friends also really enjoying a super fun birthday party.

I was keeping an eye out for special moments so I could give Ryleigh’s family the best birthday party photograph I could and give them some great memories.

It was wonderful that everyone had pulled together to Give Ryleigh the best time and I am sure all those that donated their services for the birthday party went home with a warm glow in their heart knowing they had done a good thing.
