I just thought I would share some personal photos for a change. I went to Spain last July (probably whilst it was raining in the UK!). My friend Jacob lives in Malaga, Andalucia. Unfortunately he had to work so we didn’t get to travel around too much, but I made the most of my time by getting out to some places.
Here’s my friend Jacob.

Actually, rather unexpectedly I spotted Keith Flint from the band the Prodigy whilst at Stansted airport. I quickly found out that trying to take your own photo with a heavy digital SLR is not easy, hence why it isn’t the sharpest of pictures. But you get the idea.

Well if you go to Spain for the heat you are unlikely to be disappointed! I saw a few displays that read 41 deg C I’m not really a sun worshipper so kept in the shade much of the time. It was still hot though!

A zipped round to a few places during my short time in Spain. Probably the prettiest and most dramatic place I saw was the Alhambra Palace in Granada. Lots of cool buildings to see here and very tranquil. There were not too many people about either so I was able to get some nice photographs.

This was a busier area so it took a while before I could get a photo without people in it. I like this one though as the tourists give the place a sense of scale.

Some of the architecture in Granada

This was taken along the south west coast near Gibralter. Really lovely landscapes and I actually like the wind turbines. The area definitely wasn’t short of wind. One of the beaches I visited had such strong wnds that I felt like I was being sandblasted! No wonder no-one was around.

Here are some Asses (either applies) I photographed in a quaint little place called Micas
