Well it would seem the world has gone blog, Facebook and Bebo crazy. I guess I thought “if you can’t beat them, join them!”
Firstly let me introduce myself. My name is Ross Alexander and I started Moment Photography in 2006 because, well it was the only natural thing to do. I’ve always been creative and Photography has always been the part of me that has continued to grow the fastest without any let up of enthusiasm. I still get a buzz every time I click the shutter and know I have got a great shot.
Ok well I guess you are here to either look at some great photography or to get an idea whether I am the right person to use for photographing your wedding or family portrait. Hopefully in the following posts I can help you with both. This blog is intended to give a little more insight into my life as a photographer and also me as a person. Let’s hope I do a good job!
Just to give you a bit more of a background on me and my photography, I really got into it when I travelled around New Zealand on a bicycle just a few years ago. I wasn’t lucky enough to have access to a digital camera back then, but nevertheless through visiting lots of places and taking LOTS of photographs I learnt a great deal and it was the beginning of what was to become Moment Photography. So you could say New Zealand has a very soft spot in my heart (well I have been there 6 times so far!!).
Below you can view a slide show of my travels in New Zealand as well as a few other places in the world. At the time I made it I wanted to inspire people to get out there and do things, meet people, have fun and make the most of life. I hope it inspires you in this way.
